The first two days of 2024 have not been very peaceful for Japan.

On 1 January At 16:10 local time. An earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale struck Japan’s Noto Peninsula. By Tuesday (2 January) it had caused a total of 48 deaths, dozens of injuries, power cuts to some 36,000 local households, and disrupted rail and motorway traffic. Tsunamis were observed over a wide area on the Sea of Japan side from Hokkaido to Kyushu, and radioactive water leaked from a nuclear power plant.

Before we looking to more detail of event chart we should understand the background for example Ingress and Eclipse chart.

For both the 2023 Aries ingress and the 2023 Capricorn ingress, Chiron is on the Ascendent. For the lunar eclipse on 29 Oct, Pluto was on IC in Tokyo.

On the 1st Jan the Sun at 10° Capricorn, and it is on the M.C. of Aries ingress chart, also Mars was exactly opposite each other. Mars was the ruler of Ascendent in the Aries ingress chart.

On 2 Jan 17:47 JST, a Japan Airlines plane collided with a Japan Coast Guard aircraft as it landed at Tokyo’s Haneda airport on Tuesday night, forcing hundreds of passengers to evacuate before the jetliner was engulfed in flames.

However, five of the six crew members on board the Coast Guard plane were killed, while the captain is in a serious condition.

Japan Airlines Flight 516 departed New Chitose Airport at 16:27 JST (07:27 UTC). At approximately 17:47 JST (08:47 UTC), the aircraft collided with a Japan Coast Guard DHC-8-315 Dash 8 while landing at Haneda Airport.

A few things worth to notice in the transit are

Local Space Maps

If we observe Local Space Maps from Tokyo, we will find few indications. For Local space maps of Aries ingress chart, Capricorn ingress chart and Lunar Eclipse chart have Saturn line from Tokyo to Noto Peninsula. The local space map of Lunar Eclipse chart also has Pluto line go south of Tokyo where Haneda airport located.

And for the local space map of full moon of 27 December 2023, Pluto line cross Noto Peninsula.

Although all the polls suggest that the Popular Party (PP) will win the most seats in this Sunday’s general election, but still need to work with other party to get right to form the government, their only choice is to share power with the far right part Vox, this indeed happened in Valencia local election last month.

Spanish Prime Minister and leader of the Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) Pedro Sanchez calling a snap general election after his party and alliance failed in the local elections has been seen as a huge gamble, but will this gamble pay off? All the analyses suggest that a victory for either side is a knife’s edge. 

I have no time to delve into the Spanish electoral system and I should remind myself that I am actually more in favour of a left-wing government and really against the Vox party’s view of opposition to the EU, immigration and LGBTQ and women’s rights, and that I should be careful when judging the chart.

Country’s Chart and Transit 

Here I’m using the 1975 chart, the return of the monarchy as the chart of modern Spain, it’s Ascendent is at 3 Aquarius and Pluto is around there, during the local elections in May Pluto was still in 0 Aquarius conjunct the Ascendent and opposite Saturn (chart ruler) representing the concern of the rise of the far right at this moment.  This concern is also shown in the chart by the transiting nodal axis approaching the country Chiron in Aries and square transit Pluto, Chiron in Aries could represent the dark history of the Francoist dictatorship. 

We should not ignore that transit Uranus conjunct the country’s node gives a very clear sign that people wanted to change, even if there is a risk.     

On the evidence of this chart, I believe that Right Wine is likely to replace the current socialist government.

Aries Ingress chart on 21 March 2023 

In the Aries ingress chart Spain has Scorpio Ascendant, a fixed sign generally suggesting the country will stay the same, Mars at 27 Gemini square Neptune and the Sun (L10), Mars also trines Saturn ( L4). People are not happy with the government ( L10 ) and favour the opposition party ( PP Vox ). 

L10 The Sun in Aries in the 5th house has no friendly aspect and support from sextile Pluto, this could be explained by the fact that Sanchez hopes that the resistance of the Spanish people against fascism will help him to win re-election. 

However, Saturn’s opposition in Pisces has no great dignity, but in the 4th house, it forms a sextile with Venus ( popularity ) and Mars ( L1 people ), explaining that PP is gaining power this year.   

All in all it looks like the PP has more chance to win, but as a fixed sign in the ascendant does not suggest a major change of the year, will right wine plus far right earn enough seats to form the government? I am not 100% sure.

Cancer ingress chart on 21 June 2023

I usually use Cancer ingress chart to adjust the situation for the events happening in the summer, the Moon Venus in Leo conjunct the M.C, are usually suggest a female leader, the female leaders in this election are the leader of Sumar party and Junta, will they become the key factor of this election? Or the Moon Venus simply suggests that women’s politics is the key to winning elections, in which case it will not help the far right party Vox.   

Mars also in the 10th house trine Chiron from the 6th house repeating the wounded history of the Francoist dictatorship may change the result of who will form the government.

Opening the Poll chart 

The election will start from Sunday 9 am 23 July 2023, I will use Madrid for this election and 1st house will represent the current government party, 7th house will be the opponent the PP, also I will use 2nd house to represent left wing alliances like Sumar and 8th house to represent Vox as they are ally for PP. 

Leo Ascendant and the Sun is the ruler of 1st house, although it is in its own sign but opposite Pluto and located in the 12th houses, this suggests Sanchez’s party are extremity weak, it form a sextile from the Moon in 2nd house, people (Moon) and his allies (Moon in 2nd) may want to give him a second chance.    

Mercury rules the 2nd house as the alliance for the current government, although it has no essential dignity, but it is right on the Ascendant, it has the dynamism that the Sun needs, this may be the key to changing the whole situation.

Saturn in Pisces has no essential dignity, but in the 7th house it is more dynamic than the Sun, but it is just opposite Mars recently, suggesting a vulnerable situation. This also fits with the current poll that the PP party will become the largest party in parliament. 

Jupiter rules the 8th house representing Vox the far right part it is closely conjunct the M.C and sextile Saturn the L7 and it is the dispositor of Saturn.  Vox may gain the power to become part of the government if it works with PP and it will have powerful influence as it is the dispositor of L7.

After analysing both sides, we understand that it is not easy to judge who will become the government by L1 and L7, so we need to consider other factors. Here I will add L10 Venus and L4 Mars as in the traditional technique the 4th represents the end of matter.

Venus as L10, the symbol of victory, is stationary in the 1st house, usually it suggests that the current government is more likely to win the election, but this time it is not very clear because very soon Venus will be retrograde.  This could suggest another possibility of re-election as no one has a majority, or maybe it will take a long time to know who is going to form the government. 

Mars, the symbol of the end of matter, like Venus, in the 1st house gives the current government more chance to win, although Mars is opposite Saturn but this is a separate aspect, it’s next aspect is trine Jupiter the L8, but I’m not very convinced it will give glory to right wing parties as it is in the 1st house.

Conclusion 

The transit on the country chart suggests a change of country, and as current poll suggests that PP will win, but Aries ingress suggests a year of stability and not going to change, also from opening poll chart there is chance that Sanchez will stay in power with help of his allies, if we consider L10 the victory and L4 the end of matter are both in 1st house. 

I also have to admit that I have bias and more in favour of left wing, so even at this moment the poll suggests that PP will win and form a government with Vox. I still think there is a chance for left win parties or maybe they will have to run another election as Venus is retrograde in 1st house.

Battlefield Chart

I am trying here to apply the technique of battlefield chart, but I am not expert of this technique and reading it in traditional astrology way is another challenge for me.
So far I think the 21:27 recoding is a key moment, how ever we don’t have exact place, we know he is in eastern part of Ukraine controlled by Wagner group, timezone will be like Moscow and location should be very close to Rostov on Don because his army appear there before 3 am local time, so I decide to use this place or Mariupol ( 3 hours away by car from Rostov on Don ).

Does not matter Restive on Don or Mariupol we all have Capricorn rising and Pluto is 10-9 degrees away from ASC, Uranus near I.C. A huge sign of rebellion and in the Cancer ingress chart of Moscow Uranus in on Dec ( SO as Ukraine ) This told us that change of situation.

From the view of Battlefiled chart, Prigozhin initiated the action so it is first house ruler of Saturn, Saturn is on 2 house cusps, has only “face” as dignity, Saturn’s dispositor is Jupiter in Taurus sextile with Saturn. However, Jupiter has no dignity and can offer very little help. The Sun in the 6th will trine Saturn very soon, giving support to Saturn even though they are ruled by the Moon ( L7 ), this may explain why some of the Russian military will turn against Putin and help Wagner, however the help from the 6th house Sun control by L7 does not look very helpful.

Moon as 7th represent who Prigozhin is attacking – Putin and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, they are represented by the Moon in 3 Virgo, Moon is in its triple sign, getting support from it’s tribe.
The Moon is sextile the Sun in the 6th house and is now moving away, explaining that the military are not really helping Putin at the moment. Moon’s next aspect will tine Jupiter in the 3rd, Jupiter is also the ruler of the 11th house, respond to Putin’s alliance in the near country (Belarus, Chechnya, China) with their support, Moon is Jupiter’s exhalation ruler, they respond to Moon’s request for help, again Jupiter in the 3rd house is not powerful.
M.C is the symbol of victory, M.C ruler Mars is in 7th conjunct with Venus which is L4 representing end of matter, as the L10 represent victory and L4 end of matter both in 7th house, looks like Putin through 7 house has a bit more advantage. But I am not 100% sure about this as I am not familiar with this technique, and time could be wrong.

One thing we need to remember is that Russia invaded Ukraine on 24 Feb 2022 when Venus conjunct Mars and Pluto and now we have Venus approaching Mars again ready for another conjunction however this conjunction will not be exact because Venus retrograde this conjunction will not be exact until 22 Feb 2024 another triple conjunction with Pluto again. This suggests that the development of the Ukrainian invasion is closely linked to the Venus-Mars cycle and this summer’s conjunction may change the situation but will not give a victory to either side until February 2024.

Agreement or Smoke and mirrors

A few hours after I posted this article, on Saturday afternoon, the whole rebellion changed direction completely, with the intervention of Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko, Putin and Prigozhin reaching an agreement.

We don’t have time, but one thing is very important, the initial chart has Moon L7 directly opposite L1, if this indicates the agreement, it suggests the deal will be broken.

Also we are not sure what this agreement is but there are many doubts about the whole mutiny rebellion, this reminds me of the Aries ingress chart of Moscow, Neptune is on the I.C. …remember with this Neptune, things are not always what they seem.

Don’t forget Prigozhin is not a politician, he is against Sergei Shoigu but maybe not against Putin, if he can control the military resources he can allow Putin to sit on the throne as a puppet leader, but there are too many things we don’t know.

And the Libra ingress chart there is Venus on M.C. in Moscow ( also for Ukraine ) Venus is 7th and 12th house ruler, what does that mean ? A peaceful time ? A female leader ? A power control by a foreign country ?

Few hours ago the US coast guard says they find debris in the North Atlantic suggest the submersible Titan missing on Sunday suffered a “catastrophic implosion”.

I study this type incident for really long time, as a mundane astrologer the even time “transit” only help us to “study” not much help for “forecasting”, for forecasting we need to check Ingress chart, Lunation and Eclipse

Although it pass the Cancer ingress when the news revealed but the whole  OceanGate Titanic Expedition departure on 18 June, at that time the 2023 Aries Ingress still has impact on it, if we look the chart we will find out that on that day Mars is on 27 Gemini and conjunct the M.C of 26 Gemini, both Neptune and the Sun on the Dsc Neptune 25 Pisces and Dsc on 27 Pisces. Interestingly if we compare with Titanic launch chart, it has Mars at 28 Pisces and square Pluto from 26Gemini.

On the April 2023 Solar Eclipse chart of St John’s there is Mars on the Desc at 13 Cancer, and for Ottawa Chiron is right on I.C.

We we look the Astromap with this Solar Eclipse, we will see the Mercury I.C line and Mars Ds line near the location of wreck of Titanic, also the Pluto L.S line pass the same location.

For the 5 may Lunar Eclipse We have Sun conjunct Uranus near Ottawa’s M.C, strangely Venus is again at 27 Gemini square Neptune, no planet on the angle for St. John’s chart

As whole journey began from 16 June, 2 days before next new Moon, I will suggest we have quick look on New Moon on 19 May and we will find out that Saturn conjunct the Des at 9 Pisces 

The Ascendant of this Lunar Eclipse chart is at 9 Virgo where the fixed star Alioth align with ecliptic, Elsbeth Ebertin wrote

“In ‘the Tail of the Great Bear’, it is not supposed to have a strong influence on account of its great distance from the ecliptic. However, if Alioth is felt to make an impact, it is Mars like and of a destructive kind.”

We also have Saturn near Asc in the Full Moon Chart

New Moon on the 18 June also has impact as it is the day the Titan Sub dive into Ocean, in the chart we have Chiron on Asc and we know this new Moon has Sun Moon square Neptune. 

IN the recent Full Moon chart we For Ottawa Pluto conjunct Asc opposite Venus and Uranus on I.C.

If we look at astomap for the Full Moon we will find that Saturn As line is on the location of wreck of Titanic  (41N43 49W56 ) and Saturn L.S line is also very close this location.

New Moon on the 18 June also has impact as it is the day the Titan Sub dive into Ocean, in the chart we have Chiron on Asc,  For Ottawa this new moon has Saturn on Asc and we know this new Moon has Sun Moon square Neptune which I think most astrologer agree this is why we are not feel optimistic when the incident revealed .

I try to find the departure time of Titanic Expedition it is very difficult as no exact time form the news, only note the Sub dive time on 18 June, I try to dig out more as my experience of “ Ever Given incident “ tell me that we can always find ship’s port call about their arriving and departure time of port and I found the record of “ Polar Prince “ was chartered by Ocean Gate for this tourist mission. And the record shows that “ Polar Price “ left St. John’s on 16 June 12:10 UTC this is 9:40 for St John’s in the Chart we have Mars on Asc. And Jupiter on the M.C. ( Note in the chart I can not adjust local time to correct timezone ( NDT +2:30 ) so I have to adjust Event time to 8:40 to have correct chart.

If we compare the departure chart of Titanic Expedition 2023 and The launch of Titanic 1911 we will not surprise about their complicated synastry

As we know Transit Neptune is on Titanic ‘s Mars, Transit Saturn on Chiron, Transit Pluto on Uranus. Mercury Moon on the Sun and The Sun of 2023’s departure Chart in on Titanic’s Pluto, The departure time’s Mars and Asc square Titanic’s Saturn.

According most media report, the Titan dive at 12:00 UT 18 June 2023 which is 9:30 for St John and even the location of Titanic Wreck is 370 nautical miles (690 kilometres) south-southeast off the coast of Newfoundland (41N43 49W56 ). but I test it the chart does not change much again we have Mars on Asc and Jupiter on  M.C   

Looks like Mars play an important role here and we know at this moment Mars square Uranus.And on those couple days Saturn was stationary.  When we compare it with the Titanic sink chart we will find the Tr Sun on the Pluto, Tr Moon near Mars, Chiron on North Node, Tr Neptune on the Moon and Tr Saturn on Chiron. Tr Uranus on Saturn, Tr Asc and Tr Mars square Saturn.

Most astrologer know that fixed star Scheat is related to the Titanic as Mars on the launch chart conjunct this Fixed star however, today Scheat’s degree is at 29 Pisces 42’ in this case it is too far from Neptune.

Many of my friends who study Sedna told me that Sedna just moves from Taurus to Gemini on Friday, the day before the Titanic expedition departure, in this chart we have Uranus conjunct M.C. and the Moon, Pluto trine Sedna. We are expecting to see Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) with unaided eyes between now to 23 Jan 2022 . Some other data suggest we can see it from 2nd Dec – 6th Jan 2022, but so far we still can not see it without telescope.

It passed Canis Venatici, Coma Berenices, Bootes constellation. Now it is going form Serpens, to Ophiuchus, Sagittarius and disappear at constellation Microspocium. According NASA’s data we have it will reach maximum magnitude 4 between 10-22 Dec, and maybe reach its maximum magnitude on 13th Dec, hopefully we can see it without telescope.
